Jongomero Camp has a remote setting in south west of Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest national park. Ruaha, which is little visited, is located within the Rift Valley.
Accommodation & Facilities
The camp is situated under tall acacia trees beside the Jongomero Sand River. The camp has eight tents, with en-suite bathrooms with flush loos and hot showers, and a private verandah. The camp has a large thatched dining, lounge and bar area, as well as a swimming pool.
Wildlife & Activities
The unusual species that can be seen at Jongomero include lesser kudu, striped hyena, sable and roan antelope, as well as elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe, kudu, impala, and zebra. Activities at Jongomero include morning and afternoon wildlife drives, walking safaris, and fly camping.
