King’s Pool

King’s Pool Camp overlooks the ox-bow shaped King’s Pool lagoon on the Linyanti River in northern Botswana. The camp is in the Linyanti Private Concession which extends to 125,000 hectares of wildlife rich habitat.

Accommodation & Facilities
King’s Pool has eight beautifully appointed rooms, including a two bedroom suite, with large en-suite bathrooms, an outside shower, and a ‘sala’. The rooms are designed so that the bathrooms and bedrooms all have views of the pool itself and the surrounding bush. The camp has a lounge area, dining room and bar together with an open air dining area. A lounge deck and a small pool both have a lovely outlook over the river.

Wildlife & Activities
Guests can take day and night drives, bush walks (must be pre-booked) and also try their hand at catch and release fishing from March to December. A double deck boat cruises the Linyanti River offering spectacular wildlife viewing when water levels allow. There are several hides around the camp and an underground hide overlooks the waterhole. This area of northern Botswana is most famous for its large elephant population, and is also home to a great variety of other wildlife, and regular sightings at King’s Pool include sable, waterbuck, buffalo, lion, leopard and wild dog. Helicopter flights are also on offer for an additional fee, and can be pre-booked. Photographers are well catered for with a Photo Hub studio.
