Linyanti Bush Camp
Linyanti Bush Camp is in a private concession outside the border of Chobe National Park and is on the banks of the Linyanti Marsh. The camp is situated between the teak forests of the Chobe area and the massive swamps of Linyanti River; an ideal location for some excellent wildlife viewing in peaceful surroundings.
Accommodation & Facilities
It is an authentic traditional safari camp with just six large tents, each with an en-suite bathroom with a flush loo and inside and outside showers. The tents have simple but smart furnishings and offer great comfort and excellent views over the river and the swamps, with a spacious viewing deck at the front of each one. There is a small pool, and a central mess tent with a library and comfortable sofas and a fireplace outside with views across the marshes. Meals are mostly eaten outside, but can be taken in the mess tent if needed.
Wildlife & Activities
Linyanti Bush Camp offers superb game viewing with excellent guiding on day and night game drives and walking safaris, and, when water levels allow, mokoro trips and boat cruises. Guests can also take advantage of some carefully located hides. This area is best known for its large elephant herds, especially in the dry season when the Linyanti Swamps are an essential source of water in an otherwise dry region. Other wildlife includes buffalo, zebra, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, giraffe, eland, gemsbok, sable, hippo, hyena and various nocturnal species.
