Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro

The Manor at Ngorongoro is set in a 1,500 acre coffee estate on a hillside next to the Ngorongoro conservation area, eminiscent of an elegant up-country Cape Dutch farmstead and provides a wonderful base from which to explore the area. The setting is spectacular and provides wonderful views across the farmland and forest on the slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands.

Accommodation & Facilities
The Manor at Ngorongoro has twenty suites, spread throughout the ten luxurious cottages, are surrounded by lush gardens and coffee plantations.  Each of the comfortably appointed en-suite Manor rooms has its own entrance and private sun terrace.  The Stable Cottage comprises a double and twin bedroom and is ideal for families or friends travelling together.  Public areas include are two dining areas, a bar, library and home theatre.

Wildlife & Activities
Game drives into the Ngorongoro Crater are an undoubted highlight of a stay here and you can expect to see lion, wildebeest, buffalo and zebra, with a good chance to spot black rhino as well.  Lake Manyara National Park is also close by and game drives in this pretty park are likely to encounter hippo, elephant, warthog and giraffe.  Other activities on the estate include walks, mountain biking and horse riding.
