Mashatu Lodge

Mashatu Lodge is situated in middle of the private Mashatu Game Reserve in Botswana. This wonderful 29,00 hectare sanctuary lies at the confluence of the Shashe and Limpopo rivers in the northern Tuli area of Botswana, and is rich in both wildlife and bird life.

Accommodation & Facilities
Mashatu Lodge comprises air-conditioned 14 suites, two of which are interconnecting and ideal as a family room. Each suite has an en-suite bathroom and a lounge area from which you can watch the surrounding bush for wildlife in comfort. The lodge has a pool, deck, boma, bar, lounge and dining area.

Wildlife & Activities
Mashatu is famous for its large herds of elephants. There are also lion, leopard, zebra, giraffe, wild dog as well as many plains antelope. Along with drives in open safari vehicles, guests can (at an extra cost) take guided bush walks, or explore the area by mountain bike. There is the opportunity to visit the ‘elephant hide’ which is at ground level by a waterhole frequented by elephants and lots of other wildlife. Pre-booking this unforgettable, and possibly wet, experience is advised.
