Musango Safari Camp

Musango Safari Camp is privately owned and run, and set on its own private island just off the shoreline of the Matusadona National Park on Lake Kariba. It has its own 6,400 hectare private concession which has a significant population of wildlife as well as beautiful scenery.

Accommodation & Facilities
The accommodation at Musango comprises six large twin rooms under thatched roofs with en-suite bathrooms, as well as two larger honeymoon suites with their own private plunge pools. The camp has a spacious and very comfortable main building with a bar, dining room and lounge downstairs, and a library and sitting room upstairs, as well as a pool with good views across the lake. A special feature of the camp is its remarkable collection of locally found dinosaur fossils, which are housed in a small museum.

Wildlife & Activities

Musango has some superb guides who take guests for game drives, walking safaris, boat trips, fishing, and walks to see fossil beds and sites of historical interest. As well as this it is possible to visit the local fishing village. The area offers an abundance of wildlife including elephant and buffalo as well as prolific birdlife.
