Nkonzi Camp

Nkonzi Camp is a simple tented camp set deep inside the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. The camp has a shady location in a grove of jackalberry trees close to the Mushilashi River, and is the only camp in the area.

Accommodation & Facilities
There are four simple mini meru tents at Nkonzi Camp, each with a verandah for relaxing during the heat of midday. The tents have en suite bathrooms, with bucket showers and long drop loos. The camp is run on solar power, and meals are invariably eaten outside, in the shade of a tree or under the stars.

Wildlife & Activities
Walking safaris, game drives and bird watching are the main activities at Nkonzi Camp. The guiding is of an outstanding quality, with the owner Gavin Opie guiding all clients himself, and the wildlife to be seen includes elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, hartebeest, impala, kudu, giraffe, zebra, hippo and hyena.
