Time + Tide Nsolo

Nsolo is one of Time +Tide Africa’s seasonal bush camps in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park. Located beside the ephemeral Luwi River, the camp is wonderfully remote and peaceful.

Accommodation & Facilities
Nsolo, which is the local name for the honey guide bird, consists of five very spacious thatched-roofed chalets set on raised wooden platforms overlooking a bend in the Luwi sand river. Each open-fronted chalet is individually designed, has an en suite open air bathroom and a private verandah over looking the surrounding bush. The camp has a thatched chitenje with bar and dining area offering a peaceful refuge where guests can study the collection of books or view a variety of wildlife at the waterhole.

Wildlife & Activities
During a stay at Nsolo guests can choose from day and night wildlife drives, and walking safaris. The South Luangwa National Park has a great diversity of wildlife and is regarded as a very good place to see leopard as well as lion. Nsolo combines well with the other three Time and Tide bush camps in South Luangwa as part of a walking safari itinerary. For an even greater sense of wilderness, guests can do the “Return to the Wild” sleep-out for an additional cost, which is a superb way to enjoy the African bush.
