Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa

The Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa is an impressive resort that stretches along a wide swathe of sandy beach on a secluded peninsula in the southwest of Mauritius, about 90 minutes’ drive from the airport. With the Le Morne Mountain as a backdrop, the hotel occupies one of the most spectacular sites on the island, and has a real feeling of exclusivity.

With nearly 300 rooms, there is a wide variety of accommodation here, the majority of which faces the water, offering an uninterrupted view of the sea as it breaks spectacularly over the distant reef. The pool is on one level, which makes the supervision of children particularly easy. The Paradis has four restaurants, and shares facilities with its sister hotel the Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa further along the beach, which has a further four restaurants and another excellent spa. The hotel has such a high level of service that it always feels very private, even during the peak season.

Experiences & Activities

The emphasis here is very much on family and sporting holidays. Both adults and children can have tuition in a variety of sports from golf to water skiing. There is an excellent children’s club, fully equipped gym, spa, and a water sports centre which offers complimentary water skiing, sailing, glass bottom boat trips and snorkelling. There is also an on-site scuba diving centre as well as a spectacular 18 hole golf course. For fishing enthusiasts, deep sea fishing can be arranged locally.
