Qorokwe Camp

Qorokwe Camp sits beside a permanent lagoon within the 26,000 hectare (65,000 acre) Qorokwe private concession on the south eastern edge of the Moremi Game Reserve. This concession is considered to be an excellent part of the Okavango Delta for wildlife viewing.

Accommodation & Facilities
The camp has eight large suites, built to a strongly contemporary design. The rooms have ensuite bathrooms, with outside and inside showers, and a spacious deck with daybeds and chairs, a great place to relax during the day with views across the floodplains. One of the rooms is set up for a family, and has two bedrooms and its own plunge pool. Elevated walkways connect the rooms to the centre of the camp, which features a large dining room, a bar and lounge, a pool and plenty of outside space for relaxing with a drink and fabulous views across a permanent lagoon.

Wildlife & Activities
The Qorokwe concession has a remarkable variety of habitats including year round permanent water, and offers excellent wildlife sightings at all times. Lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog and cheetah can all be seen, along with elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, giraffe and zebra, and puku and red lechwe too. The bird life is prolific too, thanks to the matrix of varied habitats. Guests may go for day and night drives, and, if the conditions permit, walks which must be pre-booked, boat trips and mokoro (dug-out canoe) trips. There is also a viewing hide, which guests can use at any time of day.
