Serengeti Under Canvas

A seasonally mobile camp, Serengeti Under Canvas moves location throughout the year to bring guests within reach of the great migration as it travels across the wilderness.  Only using private camp-sites, Serengeti Under Canvas provides an excellent platform from which to view the migration in an intimate and secluded setting.

Accommodation & Facilities
Serengeti Under Canvas has nine luxurious tents with en-suite bathrooms including huge bucket showers and flush loos. Each tent has a spacious verandah and sala to the front, a mini bar and a safe. One tent is set up for a family with two bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom, connected by an enclosed walkway. Communal parts of the camp include dining areas, lounge and library all in spacious comfortable tents.  Pieces of furniture have been carefully selected to complement the local cultures and environment.

Wildlife & Activities
Wildlife drives in open vehicles to view the spectacular migration are the main activity, with half or full day drives available with Serengeti Under Canvas’ excellent guides.  Picnics can be arranged as can balloon safaris in certain locations (the latter at an additional cost).
