Singita Faru Faru Lodge

Singita Faru Faru Lodge sits on a small hill overlooking a permanent waterhole and the Grumeti River beyond. It is in the eastern region of Singita Grumeti Reserves, adjacent to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti.

Accommodation & Facilities

The nine suites which make up Singita Faru Faru are made out of a combination of canvas, stone and reeds and have been built in the style of a traditional East African safari camp. Classic from the outside, the interiors are the ultimate in contemporary style with panoramic glass windows, mirrored room divides and roll top baths with stunning views. The central areas have been built out of local stone and take advantage of the terraced hillside. A sand ‘beach’ has been created for sunbathing and the swimming pool overlooks the waterhole below. Elevated viewing decks make perfect spots for surveying the rugged landscape beyond.

Wildlife & Activities

The Grumeti River draws large herds of resident wildlife so even in the dry season when the great herds have left in search of greener pastures, there are good concentrations of wildlife in the area. Activities at Singita Faru Faru include game drives and walking safaris. The lodge also has a spa offering a range of treatments.

Walking safaris are possible but are subject to the availability of guides. It’s advisable to let us know in advance if you would like to do this activity, so that we can pre-book this for you.
