Tassia Lodge

Tassia Lodge sits on a rocky bluff overlooking Kenya’s remote northern frontier district. The valley directly below camp is full of Loimugi trees which are a favourite food of the elephants that regularly visit the area.

Accommodation & Facilities
Accommodation at the lodge comprises five double bedrooms and one twin room. There is also a children’s bunkhouse with three double bunk beds and a shower room. The rooms are comfortably appointed with large beds, adjoining bathrooms and comfortable sofas. A relaxing sitting and dining area overlooks a stunning swimming pool, which is built into the rocks.

Wildlife & Activities
Alongside game drives, walking is the main activity in the area. With the northern frontier district stretching out in front of the lodge and the Mokogodo forest only a few minutes away, the area is tempting for any walker. The forests are full of butterflies, birds and rare plants. Walks up the dry riverbeds are also fun – after the rains, the lugga flows and the waterfalls and pools make for great wallowing!
