The Aiyana

The Aiyana has a beachfront location with spectacular views of the sunset on the Ras Kigomasha peninsula, the north western tip of Pemba Island in the Zanzibar archipelago.

Accommodation & Facilities
Each of the 30 air conditioned villas face west over the Pemba Channel, and have been designed with minimalist luxury décor and a Zanzibari touch. All of the villas have their own private gardens, and the Ambassador, Royal and Presidential villas also have private infinity pools with views of the ocean. The villas all have ensuite bathrooms with inside and outside showers. The resort has a large rim-flow swimming pool and an excellent spa that offers guests a range of massages and facials. Meals are provided at the restaurant which is close to the beach, and serves traditional Zanzibari and international cuisine, including freshly caught fish sourced from local fishermen. There is also a bar and a lounge, offering plenty of space to relax in comfort.

Wildlife & Activities
The seas surrounding Pemba have abundant marine life with plenty of healthy coral, and The Aiyana offers the perfect base for exploring some of the best dive sites in East Africa. Aside from diving, there is a range of land and water based activities available including mountain biking, kayaking, paddleboarding and snorkelling.
