Sheraton Addis Hotel

The Sheraton Addis Hotel is an excellent resort near Addis Ababa Airport, and the National Museum. It is well located, and has such expansive grounds that it feels very spacious despite being in the middle of the city.

The Sheraton has 294 rooms, and perhaps the best facilities in the city, with heated outdoor swimming pools, kids clubs, spas, and a well-run business centre. Despite its size, the hotel has impeccable service and a choice of restaurants, which serve Indian, Italian, Middle Eastern, and grilled food. There are also several bars, which offer snacks and wonderful cocktails, and the best nightclub in Addis.

Activities
The Sheraton is a perfect base from which to explore Addis Ababa, and for a few nights before or after seeing other parts of the country, offering a touch of luxury that is otherwise quite hard to find in Ethiopia.
