Tuli Safari Lodge

Tuli Safari Lodge sits on the banks of the Limpopo River within the Northern Tuli Game Reserve. Although the reserve is within Botswana, access is normally through South Africa via the Pont Drift border post, or by plane into the airstrip. The reserve has dramatic and varied landscapes as well as very good wildlife.

Accommodation & Facilities

There are eight tented suites at Tuli Safari Lodge, along with two lodge rooms. Some suites look out towards the surrounding bush, while others look in towards the lush gardens. All the suites have double or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms with bath and/or shower, and indoor and outdoor sitting areas. There is a large swimming pool built into a huge sandstone rock, and various areas for relaxed game viewing. The main deck has a lounge, a curio shop and a bar built around an ancient nyala berry.

Wildlife & Activities

Activities at Tuli Safari Lodge include game drives and bush walks with knowledgeable and experienced guides. There are hides situated at waterholes in the reserve, where guests can spend a couple of hours, or sleep out for the night. The area is famous for its relaxed elephant herds, but also boasts lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena among the predators that might be seen.
