Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp

Exclusive, luxurious and remote, Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp is set deep in the heart of the Okavango Delta.  With sweeping views over a permanent lagoon and surrounded by a myriad of islands, the camp is in a prime position from which to enjoy classic Delta silhouettes and the plentiful local wildlife. During the high water season, Xaranna is accessible only by boat, thus offering an incredibly intimate safari experience.

Accommodation & Facilities
A combination of canvas and bleached timber, Xaranna comprises nine sleek en-suite safari tents each with a romantic sala, private plunge pool, indoor bath and open air shower.  Main guest areas are positioned to make the most of the glorious views and provide the perfect spot for reading or relaxing.  The elevated dining area features shady verandahs leading onto an open air boma where candlelit dinners are served under the stars.

Activities & Wildlife
Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp offers water based safari activities, mokoro and motorised boat excursions, year round as well as bush walks and game drives in specially adapted 4WD vehicles.  Animal sightings in this 272,000 hectare private concession include elephant, hippo, rhino, lion and cheetah.  Ostrich are unique to the area and birding is also excellent with a large number of migrant species arriving in the summer.
