Rivertrees Country Inn

Rivertrees is a small hotel close to Usa River, in the foothills of Mt Meru, half way between Kilimanjaro International Airport and Arusha itself. It is set among huge mature trees in ten acres of beautiful lush grounds which are planted annually with more and more flowers.

Accommodation & Facilities
Rivertrees has 34 rooms dotted around the big gardens, varying in style and size and each with an en-suite bathroom and its own style. 27 Garden rooms are divided between a number of buildings, and all have verandahs. The original Farm House has four rooms which can be booked individually or privately for larger families or groups of friends wanting privacy. The Farmhouse has a large lounge with a fireplace and a big verandah. The two River Cottages are bigger than the Garden rooms and have baths as well as outdoor showers. The River House is beautiful with stylish furniture and has two bedrooms which can be booked individually or exclusively. Meals can be served on the verandah which overlooks the small river. Rivertrees has a bar, a spacious restaurant, a gift shop and a pool for all guests to use.

Activities
Rivertrees is a great base to relax for a couple of nights before heading out on safari. Visits to Arusha National Park, canoeing, mountain biking, coffee farm and village visits, and trips into Arusha can be arranged here, and the bird watching in the gardens and locality is terrific, but many people will prefer to simply relax.
