Mana Shoreline Canoeing

Mana Shoreline Canoeing are luxury mobile canoe safaris which travel down the Zambezi River through Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park. Over the course of four days you will paddle quietly down the river, covering a distance of around 50 kilometres over the four days. These safaris are supported by a camp team who move the camp during the day, and will be ready for you on arrival in the afternoon. Each night you camp in a pre-arranged site with great views of the river, its wildlife, and the escarpment in Zambia.

Accommodation & Facilities
The camp is a simple but authentic affair with spacious tents made largely of mosquito netting. It is designed to be easily moved and to leave no trace of its presence. Each one has comfortable beds and an ensuite chemical loo, and there are shared bucket showers and long drop loos. The camp has a dining table which will be set under a shady tree, and will always have a good view of the river. There is also a camp fire around which you can chat to your fellow adventurers before and after dinner.

Wildlife & Activities
Whilst canoeing is the main activity on this safari, you will also have the chance to do some fishing, and also go for walking safaris in the National Park. The wildlife viewing from the river will be fantastic, with elephant, buffalo, hippo and croc and plentiful antelope species regularly seen along with spectacular birdlife, and the chance to perhaps see lion, leopard and wild dog.
